What a genuine private-sector offer looks like
- A MoHRE-registered contract describing a real role.
- Salary of at least AED 6,000 a month, paid through WPS.
- Pension registration with GPSSA.
- Real duties, a manager and a development plan.
Choose roles with real work and real development. Genuine employers never ask you to pay a fee, and a real role protects your Nafis support and your career record. See fake Emiratisation.
How Nafis changes the maths
Nafis tops up the employer's salary. A bachelor's-degree holder on AED 12,000 from the employer may receive up to AED 6,000 more from Nafis. When comparing a private-sector offer with a government one, compare the total, including Nafis, the child allowance of AED 600 per child and the learning on offer. See Nafis salary support.
Where employers are hiring
Banking and insurance have the highest sector targets (45% by end 2026 for banks), so financial services is one of the most active hirers of Emiratis. Technology, aviation, energy, healthcare and industry run national talent programmes too. See banking and insurance and graduate programmes.

Frequently asked questions
01Where can UAE nationals find private-sector jobs?
On the official Nafis platform, through employer graduate programmes, at career fairs such as Tawdheef and Ru'ya, and on company career pages.
02What is the minimum salary for an Emirati private-sector job?
AED 6,000 a month. Jobs paying less do not count toward the employer's target and fall outside Nafis salary support.
03Do I lose Nafis support if I change jobs?
Changing employer can interrupt support. Check the effect before you move and update the Nafis platform promptly.
